Film embossing makes it easy to create a user-friendly, varied and attractive design.

Film embossing is a process that, through height differences on keyboards made from polyester films, emphasises selected surface details for the benefit of both design and functionality. In our film-on-film embossing, we show two different methods out of many design options. At the Metalwo Design Lab, we can show and test a multitude of examples of different solutions.

WHAT IS FILM EMBOSSING?

Film embossing is a process whereby the film is affected to create a difference in height in the area to be emphasised. The embossing can take the form of an elevation, a cushion, a frame around a key, a recessed surface or Braille. By integrating, for example, a click effect or LEDs, the user is assured that the key is activated.
