WHEN DO WE USE LASER CUTTING?

Laser cutting is used to cut polyester and other plastic materials with precise outer dimensions, for example, front films and overlays, film items to fit into keypad parts or a scratch on a machined metal front.

With laser cutting, there is no need to invest in expensive punching tools, so flexibility is high and start-up costs are low for smaller batch sizes. For medium and large batches, we will typically recommend punching tools if they meet the customer’s tolerance requirements, which makes the technology ideal for the rapid production of prototypes and small batches for further processing, for example.

We laser cut both single items and larger batches and quantities in, for instance, acrylic or other types of plastic - in high quality and in less than 5 days.
